The Donna Reed Foundation for the Performing Arts (DRFPA) is dedicated to developing the "whole"
performing artist. Its role educates, celebrates, and perpetuates the vital
continuum of the performing arts.
This is the 33rd year for the DRFPA fulfilling its vision through workshops,
performances, and scholarships for local and national students of all ages.
To support its primary focus areas, the DRFPA is working to raise some
$1 to 2 million of endowment and operational funds. Through memberships,
donations, and sponsorships of the foundation, volunteers can continue
work on:
- Scholarship Endowment - build
and maintain capacity to fund a growing number of four-year scholarships
annually for Iowa and national students.
- Festival Programming - plan
and execute a week-long educational experience that includes workshops,
seminars, performances, and other cultural activities.
- Educational Center - complete
renovation work and maintenance on theater, offices, museum, archives,
and studios.
