Retiring in 2005 after 32 years of teaching vocal music at the
middle school level in Oelwein and Denison, Iowa, Sue is now teaching
music part-time at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Elementary school
in Denison. She was a member of the Iowa State Singers at Iowa State
University in Ames and has appeared in numerous productions including
leading roles in The Music Man, the one-act comic opera,
The Telephone, as well as soloist for various community choir
productions such as The Messiah. She directed and
choreographed innumerable school productions including
You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
Sue was very active in the Midwestern Players theater group in
Denison, directing, choreographing, and performing in numerous
Dinner Theater pre-shows.
