One of television's most honored producers, Marian has twenty-five films
to her credit which have captured 36 Emmy nominations, 11 Emmy Awards,
two Golden Globes, six Christopher Awards, the Humanitas prize, a Peabody-
and more. She is a principal of the newly formed ALT Films, a non-profit
company dedicated to producing films based on American literature. Marian's
films include Miss Rose White and Love is Never Silent, both
of which won an Emmy for Best Television Motion Picture. Other films include
In Pursuit of Honor, Foxfire, Home Fires Burning,
Ruby Bridges, Decoration Day, and For The Love
of Aaron. She has held the post of President of Women in Film, V.P
of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Board Member of American
Film Institute and is currently the Vice President of the Producer's Guild
of America and Co-Chair of the National Council for Families and Television.
