Five-time Emmy winner and Star Trek director Michael R. Rhodes
created his first feature and first documentary while still in grad school,
then launched into TV production of the acclaimed series Insight
plus several TV specials, Fourth Wiseman, Juggler of Notre Dame,
The Shooting. Directing assignments followed on Fame, Little
House on the Prairie, and Star Trek-A New Beginning. He produced
the film Romero and the TV series Christy, directed feature
film Entertaining Angels, TV film In the Best Interests of the
Children, episodes of TV series China Beach and the mini series,
Heidi. Recent credits include 90210 and Hyperion Bay.
He and his wife both stem originally from Iowa.
