Marni Nixon, a lovely red haired singing artist from California, is
world famous as "The Ghostess with the Mostess" (Time Magazine
quote) for the unseen roles she has played in the film versions of musicals
dubbing the voices of such stars as Deborah Kerr in The King and I,
Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady, and Natalie Wood in West Side
Story. Actually, this is only a small part of her amazing and many-faceted
career. She has the honor of being among the few legendary singers listed
in Groves Musical Dictionary, 1980 Edition. Miss Nixon is appearing
as a musical comedy performer, symphony soloist, recitalist, recording
artist, and in opera all over the world.
