Jim Henerson received an Emmy nomination for writing Attica (Morgan Freeman); an Emmy nomination for The Fire Next Time (for which he was both the writer and the executive producer); the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Love Letter (Campbell Scott and Jennifer Jason Leigh); and both the Best New Play 2001, Ashland, Oregon and Best Jewish Play, Barbra Steisand Festival for American MacCabee, with a San Diego run and off-Broadway run. His many credits also include Getting Gotti, To Save The Children, Mutiny, The Tempest, and Breaking Up Is Hard To Do. He is currently working on two Movies of the Week, two feature film screenplays, and one stage play.
