Gloria Monty took over the reins of ABC's General Hospital as Executive
Producer after broad experience as a producer/director on Broadway, Off-Broadway,
and Summer Stock. The show went from a four-week cancellation notice to
number one for a period of seven years. She was named one of the fifty
most interesting people in the world by People Maganzine, received two
Emmy Awards and the Producers Award for the Most Successful Show in the
history of TV.
Norma Monty worked as a head writer for a long, successful run of General
Hospital.
