Natalia joined the State Theater of Leningrad in 1985 and was the prima
ballerina of the St. Petersburg company. She graduated from the Perim
Academy of Choreographic Studies in 1982, after studying with one of the
Soviet Union's most revered ballet teachers, L.P. Sharova. Natalia joined
the Perim Theater of Opera and Ballet as a soloist and performed lead roles
in Paquita, Esmeralda, and others. At the State Theater
of Leningrad, Natalia performed in Swan Lake, Les Sylphides,
The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet and Carmen. She
has toured Japan with Stars of the Russian Ballets.
